I celebrated for achieving my first weight loss goal last week. Maybe a little too much :)
I know, I know...everyone says you shouldn't use food as a celebration, but I know THAT will never stop for me. I love sweets and there's nothing else that feels as good as indulging in your favorite dessert.
So, this week I had a Sonic ice cream cone, a Sonic drink with those wonderful flavor shots, fudge bars, peppermint patties, Papa Johns pizza and breadsticks...the list goes on and on. I did try to control my portions though, which is something I would not have done in the past. At least I learned something!
I only lost .2lbs this week, but at least I lost!
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS - 15.8 lbs
I finally made it to my first goal...
TOTAL LOSS - 15.6 POUNDS!
Only 3 more pounds until I'm at the top of the so called "healthy range" for my height. I'd like to lose about 10 more pounds total which would put me in the middle of my "healthy range". After that, I'm done. I don't want to end up like another girl I work with that won't stop losing. She looks like a sickly person.
Last week's weigh-in was not so good, so I didn't have the urge to post it. I gained 1.4 lbs. This week was much better! I lost 2.4 pounds.
Total Weight Loss To Date - 14.4 lbs
Weight to lose next week to hit my goal - .6lbs
Less than a pound to go! Hopefully I can make it! As a group, we've lost 615 pounds, which is amazing! Our company is so thrilled that they've offered to pay for another 17 week program for existing members and anyone new that wants to join. I'm going to join for the "big brother" aspect. If I have to weigh in weekly, I'm more likely to stick to it.
I thought for sure I'd gain this week with all the crap I ate!
Italian with the client (chicken alfredo, garlic bread, wine wine and more wine), Easter lunch, Ted Drewes custard, Cadbury Eggs...the list goes on and on...
But...
I weighed in today and lost .6 pounds!
Total weight loss to date - 13.4 pounds!
Since we were living without a refridgerator, I fully expected to gain over both weeks, but lo and behold, I lost! It must be all that wine I'm drinking and not counting :)
Week 12 - down 1 pound
Week 13 - down 1.6 pounds (I had more wine this week)
Total weight loss - 12.8 pounds
I'm definately not looking forward to weighing in after Easter Weekend!
I MADE IT TO 10 POUNDS!!!
10.2 pounds to be exact :) Only 4.8 more to go for my first goal weight! I started drinking more water this week and actually made myself get out and walk. Now that it's starting to get warmer I'm hoping Nate and I can walk when I get home from work.
On another note...
We had a sub leading the meeting today and I think she was on speed or something. Weird. Very weird. Dancing in the aisles weird. Too weird to even describe.
No change this week. I stayed consistent at my 9.6 lb weight loss. I have to admit that I didn't try this week. My goal is to start drinking more water so hopefully that will help speed things along.
Will I ever reach the magic 10?
I'm down a total of 9.6 pounds. I only lost .2 pounds since last week, but at least it was a loss and not a gain. I'm so close to 10!
I'm down 9.4 pounds as of Friday! Only 5.6 pounds more to go for my 1st goal weight.
Sweet...salty...sour...whatever. I love snack foods! This has been one of the hardest things about being on Weight Watchers. I constantly want to snack on something that's not so good for me.
Here are some delights I found that taste good and are not so bad for you:
Salty:
- All Bran Crackers (NEW) - WW: 2pts - salty with a hint of sweetness
- Laughing Cow Cheese - WW: 1 pt per wedge. I've been eating this on and with everything. It is VERY good with the All Bran Crackers. I put it on my burgers, eat it with my apple, on my sandwiches. The possibilites are endless.
- La Tortilla Factory tortillas - WW: 1 pt per tortilla
Sweet:
- York Peppermint Patties - WW: 1 pt per piece - a great snack option when you need a candy fix
- Hostess 100 Calorie Cakes (NEW) - WW: 1 pt per pack of 3 (mind you, they are tiny, but they do the trick for a chocolate fix)
- Keebler or Nabisco 100 calorie packs - WW: 2 pts - my favorites include: Grasshoppers, Fudge Stripes, and Chips Ahoy
There are many more, but I can't think of them all right now. I'll post more later.
