**Disclaimer - please excuse any typos. I can't see straight.
A few weeks ago my sister, Alica, sent me home with a $4.00 bottle of wine from Costco that she swore was good - so good, she bought a case. I had my doubts, but I put it in the fridge for later. Later came tonight. Jesse is gone on a camping trip with his friend, Nate was in bed, so I decided to watch reruns of my beloved Dawson's Creek and pop open the luxurious $4.00 bottle of wine.
It's actually pretty good and I already drank half the bottle! I mostly taste all the fruits. Try it if you can - Ukuzala Chinen Blanc from South Africa.
On another note, I was browsing Costco online to see their Labor Day deals and noticed they sell caskets. Does that seem strange to anyone else?
We went shopping at Costco over the weekend.
Does anyone else love this place as much as I do? They have some pretty cool stuff!
Anyway...I was waiting in line to check out and Jesse was in the aisle holding Nate. Every time I looked up at them, there was someone new ooohing and aaaahing over Nate. For the whole five minutes I had to wait in line, there were at least 8 different people that stopped to comment. I started to wonder if this happens to all parents. Does everyone have complete strangers come up to them and want to touch and look at their baby? I can't imagine if you were famous and had a child! Now I know why they never go out in public!
On another note...Going back to work after a holiday weekend sucks. It was chaos as usual. I think people have either a) killed too many brain cells drinking from the open bars at our company parties or b) my temper is shorter and stupid people get the best of me. Sometimes you wonder how people think for themselves when they get home because you've spent the entire day thinking for them.
I wonder how much this guy makes in a day...maybe I should change professions :)
