Hallmark Kalidescope
Nate and I met up with Alica and Dylan this morning at Crown Center. We wanted to catch the 9:50 Kalidescope session at Hallmark. It's a free exhibit for kids and kids at heart. They provide all the elements - paper, tape, scissors, stickers and you provide the imagination. It was a hit with both kids!
Here's Nate's crown
After the session was over, we went across the street to the Crown Center shops. They were having an Irish Festival so all the water fountains were green. Nate and Dylan thought that was too cool.
Then we went inside to eat at Fritz's. It's a favorite with the kids. They have miniature trains overhead that deliver lunch to your table. It was of no surprise that Nate ate all of his food, some of my food and some of Dylan's food. God help me when he gets to be a teenager!
The next stop was Moneyville. Another free exhibit at Crown Center showing kids how money is made. They both got million dollar bills with their faces on them. Too bad they are not real!
It ended with a stop at the Candy Shop. We walked by and thought we were home free. Dylan somehow managed to catch a little glimpse out of the corner of his eye and went running. Nate followed and said "OOO" as he entered the door. We got some gummy dinosaurs and Andes Mints.
Nate crashed out 5 minutes into the drive home.
